Our declaration on accessibility

(This is an automated translation. Only the original German version is authoritative.)

At LebensGroß GmbH, we are committed to ensuring that our website and all associated services are digitally accessible. This accessibility statement applies to the website www.lebensgross.at and its subdomains (collectively referred to as the ‘website’).
With this statement, we would like to inform you about how we implement the Austrian Accessibility Act (BaFG), which is based on EU Directive 2019/882. Here you can find out which parts of our website are already accessible, where there is still room for improvement, and how you can contact us if you notice any barriers.

1. General description of the service

Under the menu item Education, we offer two services: LebensBildung (https://www.lebensgross.at/bildung/lebensbildung/) and LebensLernen (https://www.lebensgross.at/bildung/lebenslernen/). Both include a wide range of paid courses, workshops and educational events for external participants. These are aimed at private individuals, companies and organisations and cover various topics related to personal development, social skills and lifelong learning.

LebensLernen is also aimed at internal participants and offers additional free courses.

In addition to the aspects mentioned above, LebensBildung’s training courses primarily cover specific professional skills in the social and health care sectors and are eligible for credit towards the statutory continuing education requirements under the StBBG and GUkG.

As this is digital content and services, this offer is subject to the Austrian Accessibility Act (BaFG). We are therefore committed to making our course registration (including the booking process) and the associated digital information required for the conclusion and execution of the contract (e.g. course details and terms and conditions) accessible to all.

2. Status of compliance with requirements

Our website is currently partially compliant with the requirements of the web accessibility guidelines in accordance with the BaFG. We are continuously working to identify and remove existing barriers.

3. Non-accessible content

The following content is currently not accessible for the following reasons:

a) Not compliant with accessibility regulations

Certain elements of the website are not yet fully controllable via user-friendly keyboard operation. The screen reader functionality has already been externally reviewed and requires improvements. These are already being addressed by our web agency.

b) Content outside the scope of the applicable legislation:

  • Live broadcasts of time-based media
  • Online maps and map services
  • Internal areas and external tools
  • External content such as social media feeds

4. Creation of this accessibility statement

This statement was created through a self-test in accordance with the WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines.
Testing tools used: Axe DevTools, NVDA, Colour Contrast Analyser. The statement was last reviewed on 25 June 2025.
